Uber Settlement

In November 2018, Outten & Golden won court approval of a $10,000,000 settlement for female software engineers and software engineers of color at Uber. The case was based on allegations that Uber failed to provide the engineers with equal pay for equal work, and that it had subjected them to a hostile work environment because of their gender and/or race.  The settlement requires Uber to implement significant changes to make their systems for pay and promotions fairer, and it requires additional institutional support for female engineers and engineers of color to help them succeed.  If you are a class member in that class action settlement, please click here for more information.
